availability of Dragon Web Surveys™ 8.2, the first update to the leading survey

solution for the modern FileMaker® database software platform, now optimized for

the iPhone.

Now for the first time, FileMaker developers can create web-based surveys that

are properly formatted for iPhone users to answer a variety of survey question

styles. Beyond basic radio buttons and rankings, respondents can fill in text

fields using their iPhone and even switch languages for surveys that take

advantage of the multi-language capabilities in Dragon Web Surveys 8.

The latest upgrade, Dragon Web Surveys 8, represents a complete redesigned to

take advantage of the fully integrated PHP capabilities in FileMaker Server 9.

Dragon Web Surveys 8 leverages the industrial strength, standard PHP language

for increased reliability and unique competitive features. Dragon Web Surveys is

the only survey solution on the market that allows respondents to attach files

and images with responses, and connects responses directly into any existing

FileMaker solutions.

Dragon Web Surveys 8 administrators can run surveys in multiple languages, and

can set automatic email notifications, as well as start and stop dates and

times. Version 8 also introduced custom cascading style sheets (CSS) support,

new visual reporting statistics and six new question types. The CSS support is

now optimized to allow CSS-based web survey pages to display properly on the

iPhone.

The design overhaul of Dragon Web Surveys 8 significantly improved traditional

capabilities, such as data export, cross-tab reporting, branching logic,

administrator email notification, and response validation. In addition, improved

visual cuing gives administrators quick information about respondent

notification, reminder and response. Enhanced image embedding makes it easy to

present questions with pictures or images that can help respondents visually

relate to an otherwise text-based question.

Dragon Web Surveys includes built-in support for web surveys written in English,

French, Italian, Spanish, German, Japanese and Chinese. Any additional language

can also be added.

Dragon Web Surveys runs on Mac OS X or Windows, and is compatible with any

for survey creation and administration, and FileMaker Server 9 with PHP turned

on is required to capture responses.

Dragon Web Surveys 8 is priced at US $1899. Previous customers of Dragon Web

Surveys are eligible for a 20% discount. Site licenses are priced at US $3500,

and provide developers with under-the-hood access to extend Dragon Web Surveys.
