Is there a way to have a button that when clicked would open up a field in it to reduce space on the form? Like having the field, Investigation Notes be in a popup and fillout the info in the popup, and have it stored in said field without having the actual field taking up real estate?

In addition, all of my forms are maximized, so when the popup comes up I need the main window to stay maximized while the popup is smaller. I hope I am making this clear...
