Problems with Duplicates

Greetings!

I'm new here and I'm also experiencing problems with records being duplicated. I've inherited a FM database w/ duplicate records and I need a solution on how to sort, and omit the duplicates. Is there a procedure or utility available?

Hello Smitty,

The best way for me to find and omit duplicate is using Self-join relationship. You can read in the FileMaker's help about "Identifying duplicate values using a self-join relationship."
