February 3, 200817 yr Newbies Some databases when uploaded won't open in the admin console (and not available to clients). Seems that account settings are correct. Any solutions?
February 3, 200817 yr Check the server log. Most often the files fail because sharing has not been enabled, although you say the account settings are correct. Once again the log is your clue.
February 3, 200817 yr These files may have failed their consistency checks. Close all files. Stop all FMS services. The open the file in FMP 9 and save a compressed copy. This is under the file menu. Use the compressed copy instead. Also, check in the Console to be sure that you have allowed FMS to open the correct number of files. That is, be sure the settings aren't too low. Also, as mentioned, check the fmapp bit in Extended privileges for each file. Steven
