Portal goes back to first row when i change record

Hello,

i have a layout (diary) that show a complete week from monday to sunday and on that layout i have portal of another occurrence of diary (diary_p) related by X on Diary_ID that shows all the weeks in the diary (1 per row of the portal). when i enter the layout Diary i have a script that goes to the portal row of the current week. My problem is when i change the record of Diary the portal of diary_p goes back to the first row even tho i have the portal option "reset portal when exiting record" unchecked. I would like to have the portal row stay where it was.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.
