Hi has anyone got any good examples of generic startup scripts.

I'm a bit of a novice and I have been asked to write a startup script for our new version of software.

All I can think off is setting window size and entering browse mode etc....Can anyone help???

Hi Vicky

Obviously a startup script can be anything that you want it to be and therefore there would be as many generic versions as specific versions.

All that I can suggest that you do is have a think about the state that an ideal startup would be and take it from there....Show all records? .....Go to a certain layout?....set up some global field values?...Set zoom level to 100%?....show/hide status area?
