This is often a sign that you have set up an auto-enter or lookup in the related file, based on information that can’t be available until after the record has been created, or a bad reverse relationship will generate the same message. You need to go through both files, check what you have changed recently! Did the relationship work before?

I have a portal setup which displays test results for a group of kids who have the same teacher. I have the relationship set so that I can created related records.

The portal works except when I want to add a record. The blank record is visible, but when I enter anything I get the message, "The relationship"X" is not valid and must be corrected...."

What gives? Thanks.

Recreate the relationship. Something is not set correctly, or is corrupted.
