February 19, 200817 yr Has anyone seen a script to memorize and restore open window information. On close, it would have to keep track of. - name, size, position, and layout On Open, it would have to restore the above, but check position and size against current screen resolution, and adjust the window details accordingly.
February 19, 200817 yr This can be done with a bit of work. For an example, download Schedula Professional Office from www.LifeSuccess.org and give it a try. In the program, make a schedule entry and then click in either the start or end time field to change the time. A small pop-up time-selector window appears. Move this window to wherever you wish on the screen. The next time you click in a time field, the window appears in the new position. This continues until you log out of the program, at which time the window resets to the default position. This, of course, requires that you set the window position parameters into separate fields and then call on them when opening the window. Since you are using a script to do this, it should work fine. However, if you are using FileMaker Pro's window controls, you may have to consider a plug-in. Hope this helps!
