container field disappears in preview

I created a graphic representation of data using a container field. It shows up quite nicely in the browse mode. When I go to preview, and print, no graphic. What am I doing wrong, or not doing that I should?

I'm using FMP pro advanced 9.0.3

is the object set to "Print" in the Sliding Printing Options?
