I am making a inventory templet for work.

My company need to control two things. One for components and other for complete Items.

the Items are made from several components.

In this situation,

How can I make relationship between compenents and complete Items to control inventory file?

Inventory control systems are definitely not a good first project for someone just learning FileMaker. Your questions is kind of like "how do I build a automobile" or "how do I play the piano". There is just no quick answer to it. If you need an inventory solution, I would recommend hiring a consultant to develop it for you. Inventory solutions which have a hierarchy, especially a multilevel one, are difficult to create. -bd
