Database Open in Admin Console, Doesn't Appear in "Open Remote"

there is a database file i am trying to place on the server, and when i open the console and open the database it works fine, database status is listed as "normal" however the database does not appear in the "open remote" window with all the others. can add other databases, it is just this one particular file that the server seems to have a problem with. anything you can think of that might be causing this?

Did you select the option for the file's name not to appear in the Open Remote dialog?

I am new to FMP server, and I have the same problem. Several dbs are available on my remote client, yet an important one isn't. Thus far all the solutions I have seen involve using a client version of FMP to set the sharing options. I ensured that the option to *not* show it on remote clients is *disabled*, but this was done using the client version on the server. Doesn't make sense to me. There should be a way to see these options in the Server Admini Console, right? What am I missing? }:(

You're not missing anything. It's set in FMP, not on the server.
