Hey guys. I've got a field which is used to pick a machine, and when a user picks a machine from a pop up list, I want to automatically put the rate per hour into the rate field.

How would I do this step by step?

on the rate field you would use lookups to lookup the data from your machine table based upon a relationship between your product or machineID.

That's great... how would you then specify how much the rate should be? i can see the option where you choose for it to be a looked up value, but I do not see where the actual amount comes into play.
