wallabri
Hi, A client is VERY annoyed by the "This application was signed by Filemaker, Inc and authenticated by VeriSign, INC. Do you trust this certificate." that comes up every time he starts the Admin Console. Is there a way on OSX10.4 to permanently trust this certificate and not get the message any more ? Fitch
Yes, click "Show certificate" and then on the next screen click the Trust Settings arrow. From there, select the Always Trust option.
Steven H. Blackwell
You might remind the client that the certificate is there for the client's protection. You can permanently accept it as Fitch notes. Steven
wallabri
In fact, my reasoning was that they should want to know that information, but they were not happy with that. Thanks Tom for the method for removing the message. I just have to remember sometimes that "the customer is always right" as long as I have advised them of the consequences in writing. :
