Finding field repetition

I can find the contents of a field repetition using the Get Repetition function. What I would like to do is be able to do the reverse and find the repetition number given the contents of the repetition. Is this possible?

I wonder why such a desire pops up in you mind, wouldn't it be better to store the data relational, remember that the relation with fm7 became bidirectional?
