Hello,

my system is made by:

Win 2003 server (SBS) as Domain controller

another Win 2003 server running only filemaker server 9 v3.

Users authentication in filemaker server via Active Directory (LDAP).

Usually the users access files w/out the login window (using their domain account credentials) but, appearantly random, sometimes different files (not always the same and not every day) shows the authentication window and ask users (not all users at the same time) to insert their account name and password.

After clicking "ok" file open properly (so, I think that it recognize Active directory - domain server is up and running).

Somebody have an idea or experienced something similar?

And, finally, some one could share a solution?

Thank you!

Carefully check all the files to be sure they all have groups that match the Active Diretory groups exactly.

Steven

Is every group name for every file that could possibly be opened (including all file referenced files) spelled correctly?

Yes I checked this, usually the files open properly, I.e. file invoices.fp7 user a and user b today: open w/out dialog box

invoices.fp7 user b tomorrow open w/out dialog and user a open with dialog (it is totally random, same file, same users same groups policy).
