I have a text report layout in which the length of the text varies from report to report. The length of the report is long enough to accommodate my estimate of the longest possible report. I have set slide up and shorten size of field, however, it still prints blank report pages at the end. Is there anyway to eliminate extra pages? Does the fact that there is a header and footer force the pages to print?

Do you have it slide up the part as well?

Thanks for the tip. Yes I did have that set, but I found the problem. My field did not extend to the end of the layout part. Once I changed that it worked fine.
