nopposan Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Hello again. How about hiding practically all of the little icons and toolbars other than those used for navigation? How do I do that? I'm thinking of something like a lockdown that would force the user to only use my scripted buttons instead of the FMP interface. Thanks.
Steven H. Blackwell Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 You can use the Developer Tool to send the file to kiosk mode. In that case there will be [color:red]no UI elements. Everything, including Exit Application, will have to be scripted or set as button actions with buttons on the screen to trigger them. Or, you could use the custom menus to do a lot of this. Or, you could use SecureFM from New Millennium to manage the UI. [color:red]An important reminder: the UI is not a security feature. Steven
nopposan Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 (edited) Thanks, AdvanceMan. I apologize if I've posted my question in the wrong forum. Is the ability to enable kiosk mode only available through using FMP Advanced? Edited April 28, 2008 by Guest
Steven H. Blackwell Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Your question is in the right forum. Is the ability to enable kiosk mode only available through using FMP Advanced? Yes, that's correct. It's in the Developer Tools. Steven
