Hi I want to print out code128 barcodes from Filemaker 8.5.

I found several free code128 fonts online for windows and installed them. When printing in that font the barcodes so made dont work with my reader (at all).

All these fonts seem to come with a little "conversion" program where you can type a word and "convert it to barcode code 128" and then if you scan that barcode, it works with my reader.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a free or cheap way to print Code128 barcodes from Filemaker (WinXP)?

Thanks

See the description of Barcodet at www.LifeSuccess.org (you can also download a demo of Texcodet for bar codes without fonts). Each module (you're only interested in Code 128, right?) is just $79. If you prefer not to use fonts, Texcodet includes 9 different types of variable-height bar codes, again for just $79 (including Code 39, Code 128, Code 93, Interleaved 2 of 5, MSI Plessey, Code 11, Code 25, PostNET, and Royal Mail). All files are completely unlocked, and no scripts are used to generate the bar codes. Works for Windows and Macintosh. Of course, you'll need FileMaker Pro 7, 8, 8.5, or 9.

Hope this helps!
