Newbies misanthropia7890 Posted May 19, 2008 Newbies Posted May 19, 2008 Hi, I was wondering if there is a function or script that would automatically resize user input text in a field so that it fits to the box. I have a form that requires user input, as well as the ability to print the form, so if a user inputs a lot of text into one field, I have to have it so that it makes the font smaller to fit in the box. Is this possible? Thanks for your help!
mr_vodka Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Possibly, but it would depend on whether or not you can live with monospaced fonts... http://fmforums.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/187805
Newbies misanthropia7890 Posted May 19, 2008 Author Newbies Posted May 19, 2008 that wouldnt be a problem, i just need all the text in that limited space
mr_vodka Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Try this. It uses conditional formatting, but you can actually use text formatting functions with an auto-entry (replace enabled) as well. conditional_text.zip
