I am trying to export some records and each time, the file closes. I get a box that says FileMaker has experienced an issue and needs to close. This has happened in the past also. Why?

When a File doesn't act as expected, it can be a sign of corruption.

There are some things that you can check first.

Be sure you have the most current version, i.e. v9.0.3

Check your disk space, defrag if needed.
