May 21, 200817 yr Hi, I'm very stuck and having being trying without success to find out how to do this. Please forgive me if this is an obvious question. I am trying to set up a lesson planning database. I have a bank of ideas in one table with criteria (e.g. written task, verbal task etc). In another table I have the lesson plan. I have created a portal in this table so that I can see the ideas that match the criteria. What I want to be able to do is to select an idea and it complete information in the lesson plan table. Table: Ideas (currently 50+ records) Fields: Title Description Criteria Table: Lesson plan Fields: (amongst others) Criteria (checkboxes) Portal (obviously not a field) This shows the matching ideas Task 1: I would like this field to be able to pull info from Portal. But also be editable. Obviously I can achieve this by drag and drop but it is inelegant. Thank you in advance
