On Filemaker Pro 9 I have set up a field with numeric values as a currency with two decimal places (e.g. £100.00) however, when this information is merged over to a Layout that i have set up, the merge field only appears as 100 without the £ or the decimal places.

The two decimal places only appear if they are not zeroes.

Please can anyone advise how i can enable this field to merge as it is shown originally?

FileMaker only stores the necessary information. I.e. it will not store the $ etc., nor the leading or trailing 0 that are not whole numbers. i.e. .10, it will only show the.1, or .00 it will not store or show either 0.

You can format the <> by using the number format in Layout.
