Has anyone discovered a way to send bulk email with multiple attachments?

I work with a group that sends non-commercial information to charitable organizations. In order to advertise an upcoming event, I want to send them a pdf poster as well as a pdf volunteer application. Any thoughts?

It can be done with AppleScript, but IMO the easiest solution is to use a plugin. SMTPit Pro and mail.it are two popular choices.
