Hi all,

I am having problems importing data from one FM6 file to another. My problem is in regards to the time involved in the import. I timed an import of 270 records at 1 min. 48 secs. with a total of 24 fields imported. I conducted a couple of experiments out of my own curiosity. I made an exact copy of one of my files that contained 31,228 records, renamed the "Test" file and deleted the records. I then imported the 31,228 records into the "Test" file from its original file and timed the action at 31 secs. I can't for the life of me figure out why it is taking so long for the other scenario to import a meesly 270 records. Any assistance, explanations, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The file has no auto-entries, and of the 24 fields to populate, only 7 are calculated fields.
