A force quit did something to FileMaker

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if this is FileMaker, or some other support|helper. This morning, the cursor with Safari as the current application, wouldn't stop spinning. I did a force quit, on it, and decided to quit the other open programs so as not to loose recent information in case of a bigger problem. FileMaker 9 Advance was one of the open Programs. I quit it and the others from the Dock.

After this, I thought maybe I should restart. There was a open dialog that said something about Palm, I clicked on the Okay Button, it went away. The system restarted, and when I try to open FileMaker, I get the Dialog below.

If it is FileMaker, is there a way to fix the problem, without reinstalling the program.

I have tried trashing, and copying in t a back up of FM Web Publishing.app located in the FileMaker Application, and can not find an application for Instant Web Publishing?

Hoping for a easy fix.

TIA

Although I still don't know why it broke, this Tech Article seems to provide the answer.
