Hope this is the right sub-forum.

Due to a hardware error I had to reinstall FM, everything went OK to that point, but it refuses to activate saying I reached the maximum number of licenses. Any ideas?

I had to call support once to get this taken care of, when my laptop hard drive died. They gently reminded me to uninstall/deactivate FileMaker whenever switching hard drives, though I already mentioned that this particular swap was hardly planned. All in all, it wasn't the end of the world.

You're supposed to be able to install it on two different machines (i.e. desktop and laptop) before coming up against the limit. Do you have it installed/activated somewhere else?
