Use the Save a Copy As command from the File menu or in a script. I actually use a script that runs automatically each time you exit the databae and rotates through three different backups i.e BackUp1.fp5, BackUp2.fp5 and BackUp3.fp5. That way you always have a copy of the database from the last three times you closed it or activated the back up script.

Could somebody give me detalied instructions how to backup opened database on Windows 98 and NT4.0.
