I have a Send Mail script that populates an email message. Once you close or send the email message, is it possible to bring the database back to the front? Currently you have to click back on Filemaker in the Windows Taskbar.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "back to the front."

If this is a single email it should bring you back to your original layout and the record from which you sent the email.

If you mean to the first record in the original layout add the script step:

Go to Layout(original layout)

Go to record/request(First)

Is this what you are asking?

Its a windows application focus thing. When your script opens up the email client such as outlook it focuses on it. Then when you send the emailand the window closes, it is technically still focused on the email app.

I dont really see the big issue in clicking back in FileMaker. Is there a particular reason?

that is exactly the issue. i dont see the big deal either, but unfortunately the users do! im not sure it is possible to fix, however.
