"Save a copy as" > "Copy of Current File" seems to work fine from

the menu bar, but not as a script step. Anyone else noticed this ?

It works ok for me. Is this a problem with the destination folder maybe? For instance is the destination folder on a different relative oath in the script base attempt than the menu attempt?

The exact message I get (in a warning pane with the FMP logo)

is:

" 'filename.fp7' could not be created on this

disk. Use a different name, make more room on the

disk, unlock it or use a different disk."

I have tried several dozen different names, there is 12GB

free on the disk, the disk is not locked (obviously !), and I

have tried on another drive.

The path specified in the script step is identical to the

path which works fine from the FMP menu bar.

In a word, "HELP" ! !

I would try a new script and save to the desktop see if that works. The result from that test should give you an idea which part of the message is applicable
