Problem connecting to FileMaker Pro 9 advance on Windows 2008 server standard

We just installed FileMaker Pro Advance 9 on Windows 2008 Server standard edition , and we are not able to connect into the shared FileMaker files from the remote FMPRO 9 clients on MAC or WinXP systems.

The Share FileMaker Network has been enabled.

Is there a port that we need to open on Windows 2008 server? Or there is a setting that I missed in FileMaker Pro Advance?

We just installed FileMaker Pro Advance 9 on Windows 2008 Server standard edition ,

Pro 9 or Server 9? In either regard, not a supported OS. It's Port 5003.

No problem at all .

I got it working:

In Win 2008 Server click on Startrun

then type firewall, then hit return key.

Right click on “Inbound Rules, then New Rule…PortTCP, the add port 5003, 80.

The port 80 is for web sharing.
