Database on network always sorting !!??

I have a membership database that is accessed by 2 other people on a network. I have script that runs when the database is first open, that says....

If Status(CurrentSortStatus) * 1

Sort [Restore, No Dialog}

End If

I don't know why, but whenever the other two people connect to my database, they immediately experience a sort....even if I have sorted the database already. The sort is done on surname and first name after that.

It's happening every time and it just seems very odd.

Any advice welcome,
