Portal in Portal

Hey guys,

following tables:

VendorContracts - Devices - SLA

all with tables in between since multiple vendor contracts can be attached to devices and multiple devices are attached to 1 SLA.

Now on the layout of SLA I have a portal which shows a list of the devices BUT i want it to show a list of all vendor contracts aswell. Is this possible with some kind of portal in portal setup?

Thanks in advance for replying

A portal to VendorContracts from SLA, going thru Devices, should show all the VendorContracts associated with that SLA.

You could add another table occurrence of Devices on the other side of VC to show the Device on the VC. That is, if there's only 1 device per VC. You didn't say whether there is or not; you only said the other direction.

These relationships would need to include the VendorID. So that much be brought down to the child tables (where it might be optional otherwise).

At least I think so. Why don't you post a small example if you still have problems. Easier to see.
