I am designing a DB for use where a Common Access Card (CAC) is used for computer access together with an individually created PIN. The CAC uses PKI, digital certificates, and digital signatures.

Is there a function within FM-Pro that allows me to use digital certificates for user authorizations, or digital signatures to 'sign off' an action in a record?

Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you.

I went to eSign, and it seems that it's only for PC users. I'm a Mac user of Filemaker Pro 9 Advanced.

Yes I believe it is only for Windows; the hardware device drivers are Windows-only, so the FileMaker plugin had to be limited to that as well.
