Hi,

I'm running FMS 9.03 on a Dual Core Xeon Mac running Mac OS Serrver 10.4.11. I just installed an OS Security update (don't know which one because my update log is empty...maybe because I zapped the PRAM?) and now I can't use the FM Server Admin Console. I keep getting the message "Unable To Launch FM-Server.local". I can still manage FMS via Terminal, so it appears that the problem lies with the Admin Console.

I've used Disc Utility to repair permissions and I've rebooted twice, once while zapping the PRAM, but nothing has worked thus far.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm supposed to be testing a server-side script this afternoon, so having the console back would be reeealy nice.

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Here's an update:

I reinstalled FMS 9 without uninstalling FMS 9 first from my server. The Admin Console now appears to be working properly. If anyone figures out the source of the problem (and maybe an easier fix than what I did), I'd appreciate it if you'd post here.

Thanks!

-Kent
