Date generation from 3 separate field selections

Hello everyone, I'm new to both filemaker and to this forum . I apologize if this was posted to the wrong forum area. Here's my problem. I created a primary field which is titled (release date) which contains the date the project is to be released. Another field (due date) is to specify when the project should arrive. On the creation of a new record the due date defaults to 10 days. Release date defaults to the date the record was created. I have 2 additional fields (weeks) and (shipping method). The first determines the number of weeks before release and the other is the shipping method. These 2 are both pull down menus. When the user modifies or alters the release date, the weeks or a shipping method it should affect the actual due date. What would be the best way to determine a solution? Would this be done thru a calculation or would a script work best? Also is there somewhere I can go to find any examples? Thanks for your help.
