Importing from web form?

Is this possible?

I want a customer to be able to fill out a form online and have the data put into Filemaker automatically. Would be swell if it could also check for duplicates!

Yes, it's possible, and pretty easy with Instant Web Publishing (IWP). The checking for duplicates would be handled the same way you do it in a non-web solution, the topic has been covered extensively.

Are you really using FileMaker 6?

I'm not positive that all our users are, but I'm working with a non-profit so it's not out of the realm of possibility that most people are.
