check boxes in portal

Featured Replies

The problem continue...when I click some check box not respose corretly. the check box is defined in a current file is not member of relationships.

Could you help me?? Thankyou very much.

All fields placed in a portal MUST be fields from the portal relationship or they may not behave correctly. There really is no reason to put a field in a portal from the current file.

If the portal is linked to another database then the field that you wish to use check boxes for must be in the related database. The value list for the check boxes is created within the current database not the related one.

If it is a portal based upon a relationship with itself, ensure that the field in the portal is not selected from Current database but under the catagory of the relationship even though it is using the same field name. Then edit field format and use field format and select check boxes using your defined value list.
