mattlight Posted December 4, 2001 Share Posted December 4, 2001 If the portal is linked to another database then the field that you wish to use check boxes for must be in the related database. The value list for the check boxes is created within the current database not the related one. If it is a portal based upon a relationship with itself, ensure that the field in the portal is not selected from Current database but under the catagory of the relationship even though it is using the same field name.
