I bought FileMaker Pro a few months ago and built a database to manage my web design clients. It's worked perfectly until just now - when I opened it up, all records except one are gone.

The remaining one is the last one I created, but I created it about two weeks ago, and I've used the database to look up or edit info in several other records over those two weeks. I used it yesterday to do this and had no issues with it at all.

I don't understand what could have happened - any suggestions? I had around 40 records in this DB.

Is it possible that you have only one record in the found set.

Look at the Rolodex on the left in Browse Mode, and see if there is more than 1 in the second number.

The other thing to check for is to see if you have more than on copy of the file.

You are right! I just noticed that about 30 seconds ago. Thank you - I'm not an experienced user and sort of panicked when I saw the situation this afternoon. I do have a backup but not onsite. Thanks.
