Hi All,

I am using Filemaker 8.5 on Vista and it refuses to print any layout to a wired network shared printer (Lanier LP116c). The layouts all print perfectly when the printer is local and the laptop in question can print a test page - just nothing from Filemaker. I have removed all graphics from the layouts, checked the fonts and nada, nothing is sent to the printer. It all just sits in the print spooler. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

**EDIT** I did some digging around and changed the printer name to less than 30 characters (including path) on the printer and hey presto - it works. I had to change it on the machine that shares it (for clarity) and then reconnect to it.
