A few people have continuously berated me at different points and I've done my best to explain how it is that port forwarding works in a text based format. In truth though, the explanations are never full blown and are just enough to scrape people through their particular issues.

I would have to recommend Portforward.com as a guide to configuring your specific router as the terminology, methods and user interface differs greatly from router to router.

That's entirely true, though just to clarify the vid itself relates to the concept - doesn't actually go into details of how to forward ports.

Anyway, awesome resource that.
