Does anyone know when the next version of FileMaker is going to be released?

One answer: No.

Another answer: Even if some of us do know, the answer from them is going to also be No. Non-disclosure and all that. The next version of FileMaker may even provide ESS data sources pointing directly to your cerebellum via some kind of BlueTooth device drilled into your cranium - but if we told you about it, we'd have to kill you.

Lee, thanks for pointing me in that direction. I searched earlier and couldn't find it.

As an interesting side note, a contact that I have at FileMaker told me in March not to be expecting a summer roll-out, as has occured for the past several years.

Since September of 1999, there has not been more then 18 months between rollouts and since December of 1995, there has not been more then two years between rollouts. Given this, it would be reasonable to project that a rollout is due between now and January.
