Email Campaign - Send emails to drafts folder

Featured Replies

I have over 2000 contacts in my database and if I send a mass email, I have to click send, one-at-a-time, to send to all contacts in my campaign group.

I would like to achieve one of two things:

1. Design a script to automatically save each individual email to my 'Drafts' folder in Outlook 2007 (I've created a script to 'send all drafts' in Outlook). Can I do this with the 'Send Event' script?

or

2. Send the emails through Filemaker without having to click 'send' one-at-a-time. I turned off 'show dialog' and now I get an error message from Outlook that requires me to allow each individual email (I don't have admin rights to turn off warnings through Programmatic Access Security).

Please HELP!!

Caleb

hello caleb, you need a plugin in order to mass send emails as you describe.

There are several out there, http://www.fmpug.com/resourcedirectory_plugin_list.php?find=Email

Thanks Stephen,

I will look into the plugins. Are you sure there isn't a script I can write in FM to produce the result?
