Fuge Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 (edited) I'm working on printing labels that are 2.2" wide by .25" tall. The catch is the labels are in sets of 3 on the roll coming out of my Zebra TLP printer. So there's 3 labels stacked for a total print area of 2.2" width x 3/4" tall, then an 1/8" space, then the next label, etc.. So for printing there is one record per 1/4" label or 3 records for the total print area of 3/4". From note pad for testing, I can have 10 lines to represent 10 records. All 10 lines are printed and the gap between labels is reconized properly. However in FM, only the first 3 records are printed. FM doesn't continue onto the next set of 3 records, etc.. It just prints as if there's are only 3 records. I am printing records being browsed and have played with the layout as a label, etc... Has anyone encountered anything like this? Many thanks.... mr_vodka Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 May sound trivial, but did you check to make sure that you were printing All pages instead of just 1?
Fuge Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Yes, I did... I wish it was that easy...
mr_vodka Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I know that FileMaker has had issues with Zebra printers and drivers in general ( from Personal experience ) See here as well http://fmforums.com/forum/showtopic.php?tid/186552 You may want to try playig with the settings on the Zebra to see if it helps.
Fuge Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 Boy... I talked to Filemaker and they so far have acknowledged there's a printing issue. They're suppose to call me back, well see if that happens... Looks like I'm screwed... cause playing with all the setting within the Zebra printer, makes no difference....
