I need to be able to delete and rename files as well as search and replace ¶ with CR in external files via FM. Can someone recommend a plug-in that will allow me to do this.

If this is just for Windows, you can use MooPlug to rename and delete files, it doesn't currently support find and replace in files, but you could read the file, perform the replace and output to the same file again.
