solved!

sorry, i should read the docu more carefull.

C:ProgrammeFileMakerFileMaker ServerWeb Publishingpublishing-enginewpcExtensions

is not the same like

C:ProgrammeFileMakerFileMaker ServerWeb Publishingpublishing-enginewpcPlugins...

created the plugins folder, put plugin in there, now the plugin loads...

----------------------

Hi,

i try to use scriptMaster in IWP under FMS9A with IIS6 on win server 2003 x86. it is not starting. for testing a made a very simple filemakerDB only to display result of SMversion , which is "?", so the plugin doesn't load at all.

i placed the plugin in folder C:ProgrammeFileMakerFileMaker ServerWeb Publishingpublishing-eng inewpcExtensions. i could not find any log file related to IWP on the server to see if anything happens.

is there a need to seperatly switch on a IWP-plugin somehow?

are there some IIS security standard settings, that have to be changed?

i placed the plugin as well under C:ProgrammeFileMakerFileMaker ServerDatabase ServerExtensions. for all i understood this is only needed for server triggered java script, not for IWP. the plugin there is activated under FMSadminconsole

when opening IWP hosted by FM9 PRO (from any workstation in out intranet) all my java scripts work, even things like 'choose a file' or 'create a new file on a server share and open it'. so i belive this will be possible also when hosting my solution on FMS9A. if only scriptMaster would start at all on FMS...

i tried FMS9A installations on 3 diffrent hardware: win XP, win 2k3 x86, win 2k3 R2 x64. in non of thoses installations scriptmaster started, so i belive the problem is not the server ...

what is it, i'm doing wrong?

thanks for help

Yes, it's unfortunate that for some reason FileMaker removed the Plugins folder, so now you have to create it yourself. Glad you got that figured out.
