October 14, 200817 yr Newbies I have a single database that I want to share with a colleague. I use FM 9 Advanced to create databases and will soon add FM Server 9 to my Mac OS X Server to share the databases over the local network. As I understand, FM Server 9 doesn't allow you to do instant web publishing. My question, can I set up the one database to share the one database with FM 9 Advanced and share the rest of the databases to the network with FM Server.
October 14, 200817 yr Yes, but it's not going to be optimal for a number of reasons... and it's a bit odd considering you're getting FM Server, which is the correct answer to this question. Why not get the colleague a copy of FMP and forget the web completely. They can access the file off the FM Server and all will be good.
