Remember the password in keychain

Hi is there a similar option in windows xp to Mac OS's "remember the password in keychain". This is to stop users having to keep entering there passwords to login to a password protected database.

Not that I know of... but with Windows there is the option of going to single sign-on using FM Server and external authentication.
