I'm trying to export data to excel. Every time I do this, FileMaker freezes up and I have to force quit. It has never done this before. It lets me export and save as a mer file. It even freezes when I do the save as function. Does anyone have any ideas about why FM is stalling when I try to export to Excel?

Hello,

I guess by hand - via the File menu in FileMaker. There are 2 types of options under the File menu: Export Records . . . and Save/Send Records As . . .

Filemaker always freezes when I try to do any of the these with excel. Thanks.

I guess you haven't patched your application for Leopard compatibility:
