March 10, 200124 yr IMHO, seperating database and program in different files causes less risk of data lost.. Would someone pls tell me what is the advantage of saving them in the same file as in FMP? -jimi
March 10, 200124 yr This is just a guess, but I think it makes it a lot easier to create an interpreted structure vs. a compiled one. In FM you can make a change an immediately use the database. In a lot of database systems, you must recompile the source the generate a new executable. The cap'n is a computer scientist, what do you think Kurt? -bd
